Shape

The Speedboat™, as the name implies, is easily the fastest and most stable boards in our skim style lineup. The wider, rounded nose and overall shape of the board allows riders to effortlessly maintain speed and stability while on the wave. Its longer drawn out profile helps the board track incredibly well behind the boat, while the wings and pulled in tail allows the board to remain incredibly versatile and responsive on tricks, airs and riding backwards. This is an excellent choice for beginner to advanced riders who want all the performance and less of the work.

Construction

Double Carbon Fiber Epoxy Construction

This is the board that put Exile on the map. Why you ask? 'Cause it’s just that good. Many have tried to copy this board, all have failed. The perfect balance of weight, strength and stiffness combine to make this our most popular high-end skim style board. Every trick in the book, with no corners cut make this the best value in wakesurfing. We have customers still riding these boards from when our company was founded in 2002. You want the best? This is it. Come and get it!

Rocker

The Hybrid Rocker is what we put on 90% of the boards we produce, and is the most versatile rocker for skim style boards on the market. It clocks in roughly at 2.25" in the nose and about .125" in the tail with a fairly good size flat spot in the middle of the board. This allows the board to transition up and down the wave easily, while allowing it to maintain speed effortlessly.

Thickness

3/4'' Tapered to 5/8'' thickness means that the center of the core is 3/4'' thick and thins out to 5/8'' (roughly) in the nose and tail. This creates added buoyancy while keeping the board maneuverable, just not quite as responsive as the 5/8''. This thickness is typically more ideal for slight below average to slightly above average wave height and strength.

Fin Setup

Integrated Fin Box

Our integrate fin box system is our most advanced fin setup we offer. Featuring an American made Futures™ Fin box integrated into the board, this setup allows the rider to interchange their fin quickly and easily with any fin that has a 1/2'' Futures™ base. This allows the rider to explore a wide range of fins to suite their riding, or go completely finless with a box filler for a true skim style feel!

These boards come standard with a 1.75" Futures™ TMF fin for a nice balance between stability and looseness for throwing tech maneuvers.

Finish

Matte Gloss

Our Matte Gloss Finish comes standard on all our Elite and Limited Series Boards. This slightly lighter and more durable finish highlights performance, while allowing traction pads to easily adhere to the board.
